Great maps for Dubai and UAE, much better then competition.
But UI terrible. Many obvious functions unavailable, other hidden deeply that only programers knows where to find it. Please create new UI
very good app but since the gcc countries apically Dubai and Qatar both changes a lot it need more updates
Its the best so far as gps app very accurate .. I love it am using it in jordan
But waiting for updated and i wish its cheaper ..
I compared this app with others app and its Amazing but fix some crashes . And its slow when it search GPS signal !!
And I wish you add Yemen Map Plz :)
PLUSES:
• UAE maps are more up-to-date now. • Nice feature allows you to choose among 3 routes.
• Much better navigation instructions than old Garmin Nuvi (more specific on how to take turns and choose lanes).
• Handy integration with Google and with iPhone contacts.
MINUSES:
• Add My Destinations menu options: 1) with automatic alphabetizing, and 2) automatic sorting by proximity. Doing so manually is a headache. Making My Destinations searchable with other POIs would be great.
• Add POI import/export capability. There are too few POIs for UAE.
• Say street names aloud for turns. Very important! This is a big problem given that the GPS can be off by 100 meters. I had to make a 20 minute detour in Dubai after it told me to take the freeway exit in 100 meters, when the exit I actually needed was the one in 200 meters. This is also really important for safety, given the small screen size--your customers need to concentrate on the road, not the screen. Especially at 120 km/hour. Also remember, a huge chunk of your customers are over 40 and cant read small print (or tiny maps) without reading glasses.
• Get rid of Arabic + English mix; allow user to choose one language. Screen is way too small to be scrolling past the same things written twice for POIs, etc.
• Roads built 8+ months ago are missing still.
• Eliminate from menus those hotel chains that dont exist here. Its annoying to have to scroll past them and therefore bad PR for them.
SUMMARY:
As a UAE user, I would recommend the Navigon product highly over the Garmin Nuvi. (Even though theyre now the same company ...) I use it daily. I hope that Navigon continues to listen to customers as it has in the past to keep improving the product.

Disapointed, gps is not connecting correctly. And the map (dubai) is not updated at all. I regret my garmin gps sold ....
I own several Navigon products, and their switch from free to paid updates is a practice beyond belief.
AVOID their products and BOYCOTT Garmin/Navigon.
Why is middle east always late for updates???! I want to have the 3d back for ios 6?!?!,?
With iOS 8 it doesnt work its keeping shutting down.
Please it needs urgently an update.
I have iPhone 6 and the program does not work .
But working in the iPhone 5.
Please modify the program and update it to work in all devices as soon as possible.
Allow us to change the app language from the app setting, so we could search in any language we want instead of changing the hole phone language! Or at least allow us to search in Arabic while the language of the app in English.
( my phone in English, but I cant search for places in Arabic! )
